how to choose a juicy watermelon

If you're a shopaholic like me, you'll want to subscribe to my RSS feed to find out about the latest in shopping.

1. Inspect the condition of the skin to check for manufacturing defects (oops  , I mean cracks, holes, bruises).

2. Lift it up with both hands.

3. If it feels heavy (but of course, it’s heavy!), then it’s probably juicy.

4. To confirm, hit the watermelon with the open palm of your hand and listen for the sound it makes.

5. If it sounds hollow, you got the right one. If not, put it back and start over. Have fun ;) .
