going coconuts!
If you're a shopaholic like me, you'll want to subscribe to my RSS feed to find out about the latest in shopping.
When the weather is hot, there’s nothing like a fresh coconut to cool you down. It’s one of my all-time favorite drinks.
Yes, by now, you can clearly tell that I love to drink though it’s unlikely I’ll ever get drunk on coconut juice, green tea or grass jelly (hick!).
I think this one here in the picture is nicknamed ’snowball coconut’, well, for obvious reasons.
The meat’s been carved out of the hard husky shell in one whole piece (takes quite an expert to do that) and plopped nicely in this container with the juice poured in.
Kinda the clean-cut way of packaging but obviously that’s taking away the novelty of drinking out of a whole fresh coconut.
I sometimes do buy the whole ones with a hole hacked at the top to insert a straw. But it seems this coconut came from some exotic place, not locally grown, so I just wanted to see if it tasted any different. Not.
But I’m somewhat of a coconut myself
so I’m not picky.
