a nerdy skirt for me

I haven’t bought anything much for myself in some time. So I was pretty excited when I came across a nice pair of Voir jeans at the Jusco sale and decided to try it.

For some reason, I still keep thinking I’m my old size and asked the sales assistant to get me the 30-something waist sizes.

Ten minutes in the line to get into the fitting room with a size 32, it was huge! Came out, got a 30 and started lining up all over again. Still too big!! Arrgh, it’s not my day for jeans. Time to move on!

Let’s try a skirt instead. I need something nerdy for work and I found this plain old A-line skirt. Purr-fect! Just the thing I need.

No frills, no big pockets, no embroidery. Very comfortable. Not to mention it’s 70% off so I’m laughing.

No discount on the swimsuit though *rolls eyes*. But isn’t it the sweetest pink. Raine loves it and she looks drop-dead beautiful in it. I might borrow it sometime at the risk of looking like a sack of potatoes ?

What else did I buy? A swimsuit for Skye (not pictured here) and a bunch of other everyday stuff that are too small to even mention.
