saving our planet one plastic bag at a time

I get the feeling we’re using entirely too much plastic. The sales are on now and I’ve been out shopping practically every weekend. The number of plastic bags I end up carting back to the car is ridiculous, I tell ya.

I have a small collection of these rather flimsy-looking tote bags that stores give out for free from time to time. Of course, it has the store’s logos emblazoned on them and try to make walking advertisement out of us.

But apart from that small irritant, I’m actually quite happy with the bags. They’re foldable and I can easily fit a couple of them into my humongous carryall bag. I use them to carry stuff that I buy instead of the store’s plastic bag.

For the sake of our grandchildren and their children, let’s try to save our planet one plastic bag at a time.
