to wait or not to wait for the sale

I typically save all my non-essential shopping for the sale. Yep, I live for sales. I mean, why pay regular price if you can get it at a discounted price at a later date?

Actually it used to be that way. If I saw something I liked, I’d wait for the sale. But these days, the items move so fast that if you don’t grab it right there and then, it’s gone forever tomorrow.

I find that the stores don’t carry much stock, and once their current stock runs out, they won’t bring in a new batch. So while it used to be okay to wait for a sale, these days you have to weigh the risk of it being sold out by the time the sale rolls around.

So to wait or not to wait, that is the question .
