what to do with stuff you buy on impulse?

Have you ever bought an item on impulse, then decided you didn’t like it when you got home but couldn’t return it because the store doesn’t have a return policy?

I’m guilty of this all the time. I think it’s a big waste of money *sigh* and I really want to kick myself for it. So I sorta do the next best thing.

They come in very useful as birthday presents or gifts. With the number of times a year the kids find cause to give gifts to their friends or teachers, there’s never a lack of people to pass these along to.

For items that don’t make good gifts, I give them away to charity after they’ve sat there for long enough and no one seems to want them. These people are more than happy to receive used items, what more new items! So this is clearly a win-win.
