soup in a sachet vs soup in a can

I was rummaging around for something to cook today, and came across a box of instant mushroom soup. I’m not sure how that got into my kitchen because I rarely buy soups.

My good neighbor brews the best soup lovingly over her fire for hours, so why would I buy instant soup? Anyhow since I found 3 sachets in the box, I thought why not just cook it and get it over with. I hate to see food go to waste (it’s part of my upbringing).

The soup, made with one sachet, came out too diluted. So I put it back to the boil and added another sachet. It was thicker and looked much more appetizing … not! It was the worst thing I ever tasted. It wasn’t even mushroom soup. OMG!!

Soup in a can tastes much better. Down with soup in a sachet!
