recycling plastic bags

What do you do with the plastic bags you bring home from grocery shopping? Yes, I have often lamented the use of plastic bags here instead of the brown paper bags. But since 98% of the stores use plastic bags, there’s nothing much I can say.

Some people I know throw away their plastic bags and then go right back out and buy those large green plastic bags for garbage.

Why not just recycle the grocery plastic bags and use them as garbage bags? That way, you save both money and the environment.
