the number one cause of obesity?

I’m trying to find a new pair of sports shoes… again. But it seems that where design and price are concerned, they vowed that ne’er the twain shall meet.

First off, they have wierd designs on sports shoes these days so it’s hard to pin down anything close to what I have in mind. I want something rather plain, not with those wierd color combos and heels that look like space shoes.

If I’m even lucky enough to find a pair I like (remotely), the prices are exorbitant! You reckon the number one cause of obesity in this country is that few can afford the price of a decent pair of sports shoes to exercise in  :roll: ?

*sigh* I. don’t. know. Maybe I’ll give Royal Sporting House a try at their sale from September 22 – October 21. I’ve never had much luck there but I’ll go in and browse anyways.
