I’m seeing the prices of everything going up and up. Can you imagine going shopping this year-end and having to buy gifts and stock up on festive stuff?
Don’t be fooled by the prices that stay the same. A lot of times, the prices may remain but the portions are getting smaller and the quality getting more sub-standard.
Have you noticed your toilet paper getting thinner? Or that portion of chicken rice isn’t as filling as before? Or how your t-shirts get distorted in less than 10 washes?
At the rate we’re going, I’m predicting we’ll soon need to be using budgeting software to help us keep tabs on our expenses. Or maybe I should install a copy on my pocket PC and start calculating every cent I spend, eh?
