I’ve lost count of how many projects my kids go through at school each year. All I know is that it’s plenty, and many of them require copying pictures or text either onto another document or colored paper to be cut out for artwork.
So instead of running all those trips to the photocopy shop each time, I think we should’ve just gotten a scanner like the ScanShell 3000DN.
It’s a high speed duplex document scanner which means it scans both sides of the document at the same time into a PDF file.
It works with documents from as small as a business card up to legal size, and even plastic ID cards as well. Wow, that would sure take care of all the wierd stuff we have to copy sometimes
.
Since we use the computer such a lot, it makes sense to have everything in there to print off of, doesn’t it? It’s lightweight (oh good, it’s portable!) and has a small footprint (all the better to save space!).
Software-wise, it comes bundled free with DocShell which is compatible with Windows Vista. Right now, ScanShell-Store.com has them in stock with a 30 days money back guarantee. Heh, I’m sure I could use it for my business too.
