saving a bundle on accommodation

My girl friend and family are getting ready for their annual trip to Europe. My friend is taking advantage of the fact that her husband’s company is paying for the hotels in Rome as well as the hotels in London so all she needs to do is pay for one room for her kids.

I think it’s a brilliant idea to save money and she’s been doing this for some years now. Last year, when her husband was sent to New York for a week, she went along as well. So she saved another bundle on a New York hotel.

With the money that she saved, she’s bought herself a collection of designer clothes and bags. That’s why she’s not that keen to shop locally even when there are sales on. The lucky woman!
