I could almost kick myself for missing a trip to Mexico when I was in San Diego with my friends one time. I mean, San Diego and Tijuana are practically neighbors and just a short distance away.
A few of my friends made the trip across the border but I stayed behind with my roomie. When the others came back, they were raving about how great the shopping was and then we saw all the stuff they’d bought, and we were like, darn!!
They didn’t get to visit the beaches and explore the ancient Mayan ruins, of course. If I’m ever in the vicinity again, I’ll be sure to book myself into the Karisma Hotels which, by the way, are smack in the middle of the famous beaches and the local sights.
