cheaper by the dozen

If you're a shopaholic like me, you'll want to subscribe to my RSS feed to find out about the latest in shopping.

I’m a self-confessed T-shirt freak. It’s summer all year here so T-shirts are really the staples. They’re so comfortable and absorbent (it’s also very humid so perspiration is part of the deal), what’s not to love about them?

I used to go downtown to the wholesalers’ to buy plain T-shirts in bulk. Are you thinking I might have been selling T-shirts on eBay or something? No, I wasn’t.

At the time, I was really, absolutely obsessed with T-shirt painting. In fact, when I didn’t have enough shirts to paint on, I started painting my shoes, then my bags.

Coming back to the idea of eBay, I did consider selling my ‘masterpieces’ there for a while. But when I thought of how many trips I’d have to make to the post office to send off orders, it kinda put me off. I don’t have the time to hang out at the post office.

But hey, if you have a bit of time on your hands and want to make a few extra bucks, you should try it. I can’t tell you how to paint T-shirts because I’m self-taught. But I can sure tell you where you can get wholesale T-shirts and ladies’ tops at great prices.

If I still had the time to paint T-shirts, I would order them from Wholesale Direct USA to give away as Christmas gifts. They also are the premier site for big and tall hip hop tees. Oversized tees can sometimes be hard to find in regular stores so you might want to check here first.

They sell by the dozen so if you could combine your order with your friends to make up the numbers and save on shipping as well. Or if you have a few kids at home, buying in bulk makes sense too.
