It’s been a long time since I went shopping without the kids. That’s what happened yesterday when I went out for breakfast with a girl friend and we ended up trying on clothes and browsing the Christmasy stuff.
Needless to say, we chatted about … our kids 
- from how her daughter is doing in college to how her eldest son hates his job to where her youngest son got his private student loan.
Seriously what else do you expect of two mothers out shopping without their kids? What’s more, we both ended buying stuff for our kids and nothing for ourselves.
Talk about being mothers through and through. I seriously think we need to have another day out but this time, we’ll take the kids out of our minds and just focus on us, us, us for those few hours. You think we can pull that off ?
