singing Christmas tree at the Pavilion

This is the huge singing Christmas tree at the center court of the Pavilion. The colors change dramatically from blue to yellow to pink and so on.
In the evening at 7pm and 8pm, the tree comes alive with singing carolers winding all the way up to the top of the tree, belting out familiar carols.
There’s an amphiteater right in front of the center court. You can see the audience sitting on the stone steps at the bottom of the picture.
It’s a really great concept for tired shoppers and interested audience to take a breather and watch the show sitting down instead of leaning on the balconies (like in other malls).
We sort of ‘picnicked’ on the steps too for a while as Steev tested out his new Canon lens which he took this photo with.
See, I’ve got my own photographer. I don’t have to lug around my cameras and lenses and run around taking the photos myself. I just leave it to my paparrazzi guy to take care of things
