While I was at Tesco today, I was looking for microwaveable popcorn, the type I make every now and then when the kids tell me there’s going to be a good movie on during the weekend.
Once a lady saw me picking up a packet of microwaveable popcorn and she very kindly taught me how I could save money by buying the loose corn seeds instead and using a pot to pop them.
Well, I tried it and it was a disaster. I nuked all the corn seeds and there was nothing left to do but stare at the black mess at the bottom of my pot.
Lately I saw the cutest popcorn machine for home use and I wonder if I should buy it. I don’t make popcorn very often so I’m thinking it might risk become a white elephant.
But hey, if you’re a movie fan with a home theater, this would be a really neat thing to add to your indoor cinema. Can you just smell the popcorn already?
