Chinese New Year is in the air

The traffic jams have started. Parking at the malls is getting harder especially with the weekend crowds out in full force. Lots of Chinese New Year items are out and being snapped up like nobody’s business. Expect this to be the scenario for the coming weeks leading up to Chinese New Year.
I’m happy that 1 Utama is all decked out for CNY as of last night (I think). Sure beats a bare Center Court. They have a plum blossom floral theme this year but I didn’t have my camera on me so no photos till the next time I go there.
In the lineup of activities, the acrobatic and cultural performances started last night and they will be on all through CNY. There will be shows throughout the day at certain times so check the schedule when you get there.
I’ve been busy and haven’t checked out the other malls yet. But hopefully I’ll get around to a few of them soon so stay tuned, ya?
