the thing about paint brushes

We’re halfway through out paint job and I just have to say this about paint brushes. When you shop for paint brushes, go for a good quality brush. I don’t know if that necessarily means a more expensive brush though.
When I bought mine over the weekend, I was thinking of paint brushes as throwaway items that we’d typically dispose of after we got the work done. There were 2 brands at the store and I bought the cheaper one.
What happened was the brushes started dropping bristles! Horror of horrors! Imagine all the time I spent going back over every square inch weeding out the bristles that’d gotten stuck to the paint work.
Like I said, I’m not sure if buying a more expensive brush would’ve prevented this from happening. But if you know or have used a good quality brush, remember the brand and share it with us in the comment box below if you will.
