the benefits of green tea

Every time I walk past this particular Japanese green tea kiosk at the mall, the kimono-clad promoter would unfailingly offer me a tiny cup of green tea to try.

I always oblige but so far I haven’t bought anything from her. It seems she always catches me at a time when I still have many boxes of tea stocked up at home. I love to buy in bulk, remember? So it takes me forever sometimes to finish one box of tea if my kids don’t help me drink it.

Green tea is actually very good for you. It not only tastes good, it contains anti-oxidants that help to fight many kinds of illnesses from the common flu to fibromyalgia. It helps with digestion and to rid your body of toxins.
But as with everything else that is supposedly good for you, green tea is very cooling and may not go down so well with older folks.
