speaking of cellphones
If you're a shopaholic like me, you'll want to subscribe to my RSS feed to find out about the latest in shopping.
I’ve gotten wierd looks from people who see me using my iPAQ PDA phone. Well, I don’t blame them. To the person on the street (read: non-geek), it must seem awful strange to be speaking off a so-called phone that has no keypad!!
I’m used to people asking me ‘what brand of phone is that??” with question marks popping up all over their heads. When I tell them it’s a HP, they’re even more shocked. I guess they’re expecting to hear familiar cellphone brands like Sony Ericsson or Nokia.
HP is better known for their printers so it must be a surprise to many that they also make computers and PDA phones. My kids tell me every teen and their dog owns a Sony Ericsson cellphone which, to me, is one of the most unfriendly contraptions around. As for the Nokia, it’s supposedly a brand for old foggies so I’m glad I’m not using one (hehehe!).
