getting seniors ready for travel

My father-in-law is flying off on a vacation to Australia tonight after spending the weekend here in town.

I had to help him with his packing to ensure he brought the right kind of the clothes for the season, and check that his air ticket, passport and travel health insurance are in order.

If you are sending off older folks on vacation, it’s best to ensure that everything is meticulously planned. I know many of them are seasoned travelers these days as they have all the time in the world.

But still, it’s a good idea to equip them with phone numbers they might need in case they need to contact someone either here or at their destination. Go over travel tips with them and remind them to be careful whatever they do.
