how to save on children’s clothes

If you're a shopaholic like me, you'll want to subscribe to my RSS feed to find out about the latest in shopping.

Kiddy clothes don’t come cheap these days and we all know how quickly kids outgrow their clothes. So to reduce on shopping for kiddy clothes every so often, you can save some money too.

Here are a couple of quick tips. Buy clothes that are one or two sizes bigger than what your child would be wearing now. If you buy the exact size to fit them now, they’ll be too small in a few months. But if you buy them slightly bigger, you child will be able to wear them for a longer time.

Hand-me-downs from older kids (siblings, cousins, friends) are always good. I personally think worn clothing is cooler and more comfy. As long as the clothes are not faded or torn, you can have your kids wear them around the house. Save the newer ones for when you go out.
