not all clothes suit everyone

I think people would look much better if they took some trouble to think about what kind of clothes they look good in. Yes, I know there’s this thing called fashion which beckons us from every shop window every season.
But clearly there are certain kinds of clothes that are more suited to certain body shapes and sizes.
I saw three different women last weekend, all short and plump, wearing light-colored mini skirts which accentuated their thunder thighs. Not very flattering at all.
A slightly longer skirt, though not nearly as fashionable maybe, would make their legs look longer and slimmer. Darker colors would also camouflage plumpness better.
There are no hard and fast rules. You just need to look in the mirror and be honest with yourself.
