I frequently drive through an affluent neighborhood on my way to do my errands.

Just looking at how many houses have those exterior shutters seems to confirm that old is gold.

Don’t you just love the rustic look and feel of these shutters? Well, I do, a lot.

And I’m seeing a lot of the old colonial shophouses in the city which have been refurbished while keeping their windows and shutters intact. What a brilliant idea!

I actually thought they don’t make shutters like these any more. But actually you can still find them at Larson Shutter. Go check them out.
