I have this fear of the file attachments and documents that I receive from friends and people in general. Frankly the risk of them being virus-infected is pretty high considering how people don’t seem to think very much about keeping their computers protected from malicious ware.
They may well have some anti-virus software installed but it’s probably not updated. So the newest virus can still get through. Software Security Solutions has one of the best computer security softwares around.
If you have NOD32 installed, you’re safe but you need to remember to download your NOD32 renewals when they become available.

Yes, I totatally agree with you. Viruses are everywhere in the net now. Updating software may not be enough to protect you against the viruses. Do need to remember to update the “virus definition” file as well.
This is my own experience. Updating software does not automatically update the “definition” file.
