how to dress to hide your imperfections

Not all of us are blessed with the physique of models. Not that we want to be either now that stick-thin models seem to be the trend. I can’t understand why models must be so naturally thin but never mind.

As I was saying, most of us have imperfections that we carry around every day. So how do we hide those imperfections and make ourselves appear to look better in what we’re wearing?

For one thing, if you’re on the plump side, stay away from horizontal stripes which can only make you appear to be broader than you may be. Also avoid belts or clothes that feature a different colored waistband as these draw unnecessary attention to the width of your tummy and hips.

Super-mini skirts and short shorts only serve to accentuate thunder thighs and make them look more thunderous, even if you try to appear taller by wearing stilletoes!!

If you have flabby, untoned arms, stay away from spaghetti straps and sleeveless tops until you get those arms toned and tank-top-ready. Avoid cap sleeves as well because they draw attention to the thickest part of the arm.

If your tummy and upper back are not firm and you have a spare tire or bulges over your bra line, avoid tight-fitting tops which makes the extra fat much more visible. A slightly looser top would be more flattering.

Just a few tips from me. Hope they make you look better and feel better about the way you look. Questions and comments welcome.
