check the stores for Mother’s Day specials

I’m seeing lots of Mother’s Day sales going on at the stores right now. Times are bad so I guess everyone is trying to cash in on any old event. And of course, Mother’s Day has been so hyped up, there’s no escape.
Even if your rationale for not celebrating is that you love your mother or the mother of your children every single day of the year (and you’re absolutely right about that), your friends may convince you that you’re not a good son/daughter/hubby if you don’t do something special on Mother’s Day.
That’s why I’m not a big fan of Mother’s Day. It’s too commercialized and has lost its meaning. But if there’s a sale going on, you can bet I’ll be window-shopping on the off-chance that I find something at a discount.
To the mall…..!!!
