not much to show for our shopping spree

Over the past week, I’ve been entertaining some relatives from out of town. As usual, when they’re in town, our days seem to be one big blur of a shopping spree!
We checked out what’s new at Midvalley Megamall which we haven’t been to in like a year. Well, the place hasn’t changed much. The stores are pretty much the same but the flat rate parking fee sure has gone up! So that’s one more reason to stay away.
The Istean sales are on at The Gardens but their things are still very upmarket even during the sale. We came out empty-handed but managed to grab a couple of things from Jusco and Metro. That’s about it.
All is quiet now since my relatives have left to their next shopping destination. There are so many cheap flights on offer during the school holidays so I’m sure many people are taking the opportunity to go bargain hunting in neighboring countries.
