Happy Father’s Day

I was at the mall today, not to celebrate Father’s Day, but to watch a movie with my kids. Needless to say, the restaurants were jam-packed and obviously so was the mall.
Like I said, I’m not a huge fan of parental day celebrations. I just think it’s too commercialized and I don’t like to think that people only wait for that one day of year to show their appreciation for their parents.
But I guess for those who live far away from their parents and don’t get to see them often, it’s a great excuse to embark on Chicago travel for that get-together on these specially designated days.
