say bye bye to store loyalty
These days, I do a lot more homework before I go grocery-shopping bearing in mind that with the same amount of money, I’m getting far less than what I used to be able to buy. Everything’s gone up in price except for income and salaries. So I got to stretch my money any way I can.
I check out the prices of groceries online ahead of time. I roughly know what I need and there’s a promo on those items, I’ll buy those. If I still have stock at home, I can afford to wait.
That’s why I believe in buying in bulk. I always have ready stock and I’m not forced to pay more for items when I’m desperate. It also saves me from making unnecessary trips out to get something I desperately need.
I have no loyalties to any one grocery store or chain. I shop wherever I happen to be at and wherever I can get the best savings.
