Blowfish shoes, colorfully cool
Can you ever have enough shoes? I say not. Wait till you see these Blowfish shoes. Given how hot our weather is, I always opt for casuals and sandals that are light and cool, and Blowfish women’s shoes are not only that but also colorful.
In fact, these are the best things for you if you do lots of walking. That’s why they’re so popular with teens and college girls. You could walk for miles and not feel like you’re even wearing shoes.
Oh, by the way, when you’re at the Blowfish Malibu site, be sure to also check out their Blowfish designer shoes.

why I say no to public washrooms
Confession, I try not to drink a lot of water if I know I’m going out shopping for a few hours. I know it sounds crazy but it’s all to avoid having to use the public washroom which more often that not, is stinky and badly maintained.
Can you imagine going to a washroom with leaky bathroom faucets, broken flushes and wet floors? Pretty yucky. Thankfully some of these public washrooms are improving slowly but it’s still not fast enough for me

resort-style living sounds good
It’s quite common for parents with young kids to buy homes near the playground or one where a play area is easily within reach.
It’s such a convenience not having to drive for miles in search of a child-safe area with climbing structures, swing sets and a place for moms to hang out.
With the focus being on lifestyle these days, many new neighborhoods are featuring jogging paths, playgrounds and community centers and using those as their selling points.
But then again, like a friend of mine says, it’s really hard to get any real work done in such resort-style living environments, you tend to think you’re on vacation all the time.
Yes but for moms who stay home with their kids, this is probably the ideal environment for bringing up a family.

bright yellow Beamer
One of the guys I used to work with had a yellow BMW. It’d been his dream car since he was a kid. So as soon as he’d saved enough money, he went out and bought himself a secondhand BMW.
Then he spent the next couple of years refurbishing it in his free time whenever he had the money. He upgraded the engine, changed the BMW steering rack, added in cool accessories and gave it a sunny yellow coat of paint.
When it was all done up and he took it for that first spin on a coastal highway, that was when he met the woman who is now his wife. Romantic, ain’t it? Nothing like a bright yellow Beamer to catch the ladies’ eyes.

get to your hotel safely
I don’t know about you but as soon as I get out of the airport at a new country, I like to know that I’m going to get safely to my hotel especially if I’m traveling with kids. If I was going on business travel, I always made sure I arranged for someone to pick me up from the airport.
If I was going on vacation, I’d line up for the airport shuttle. Once or twice, we’ve stepped straight out of the airport to catch a cab and ended up getting fleeced. That’s not a very nice way to start a vacation at all, if you ask me.
If you’re going to New York, I suggest you take the Newark Airport Shuttle to ensure a safe ride to New York city and the surrounding suburbs. New York, because of its size and pace of life, can be really rather intimidating if you’re going there for the first time so I wouldn’t want to get lost and have to try and find my way around.
I’d much rather hop on a shuttle knowing I will be taken to where I want to go. You can easily set up an advance booking by checking out Go Airlink Shuttle.

Day of Blogs ‘08
Remember at around this time last year, I participated in Blogathon 2007 where I blogged for 24 hours straight (without any sleep!) for my charity of choice, Doctors Without Borders?
Well, I had a blast last year and I’m going to be doing it again this year, can’t wait!! Day of Blogs 2008 is organized by Jen Khouria, a monitor and blogger from the Blogathon, who has taken to task the arduous job of organizing this event since the organizers of the Blogathon are unable to make it this year.
Day of Blogs 2008 happnes on July 26, 2008, that’s the same weekend the Blogathon would’ve been held. So mark your calendars. I need your support as I prepare to blog non-stop for 24 hours on July 26, 2008 to raise money for my chosen charity.
I’ll be posting the details once I get everything sorted out. Meantime, if you’re interested in joining us, go register yourself at the Day of Blogs. You’ve still got time as the closing date is July 23, 2008. Hope to see you there.
