it pays to compare prices

We did a bit of shopping Saturday since the Mega Sale Carnival is on. Like I always say, it pays to compare prices before you buy even if it means walking a little more.
My son needed a bottle of deodorant. At one store, it was marked up but with a 15% discount. We decided to go upstairs to another store and it was going for a flat price which was much lower than what the first store had to offer even after the discount. So we bought from the second store.
On the way to basement parking, we passed by a third store selling it at an even lower price. I guess you can’t win them all. But if you’re serious about buying something that’s easily available, then it does pay to compare.
