you’re saying it’s okay to dream and drive then??!
If you're a shopaholic like me, you'll want to subscribe to my RSS feed to find out about the latest in shopping.
My dad and his old cronies were out shopping when their car got hit from behind while they were double-parked and waiting outside a row of shops.
The driver of the other car was doubtless a P (probationary) driver who happened to be gazing happily skywards when he ran into their car.
Thank goodness none of the old foggies were hurt in the accident or some Nebraska Personal Injury Lawyer, who are highly experienced in dealing with cases of injuries resulting from negligence, would be pretty busy (if we were living in Nebraska, that is).
But when they got to the police station, there was a surprise waiting for them. Whoever hits the back of someone’s car is always at fault, right? Well, apparently not.
My dad and his friends were faulted and made to pay a fine for stopping their car to wait for a friend while the guy who hit them got off scot-free for daydreaming while driving straight into a stationary car.
Isn’t the law becoming a joke around here? *rolls eyes*
