My daughter has a friend at school who imitates everything she wears. I know how irritating that is because I’ve been in her shoes. Like me, my daughter likes to experiment with different fashion styles.

And this girl at school would quietly take note of what she’s wearing and then probably spend the whole weekend hunting for a similar piece of clothing.

When my daughter wears a polo shirt one week, she’ll be wearing one the next week. My daughter has a pair of humongous hoop earrings and that girl was sporting a similar one the next week.

I know imitation is the best form of flattery. But go establish your own style, girl!!
