shopping of a different kind

My shopping buddies are surprised I haven’t joined them in months. Yes, I’ve been busy… doing shopping of a different kind. My son and his friends need my help shopping for a college to enrol in next year. It’s all a bit of a rush but seeing as how many factors I have to consider, it’s no simple task.

Aside from the fact that cost is a major consideration, some of the kids want to keep their jobs and take a part-time college course. The best way I can see is to get a bachelors degree online, then they can study at their own pace.

I’m getting them to look at Western Governors which is a fully accredited online university offering graduate and undergraduate degree programs in such disciplines as Business, Health Care, and Information Technology so there’s lots of choices.

A big plus is it’s more affordable than many other online universities which would hopefully help to alleviate some of the cost concerns the other parents and I have. So yep, that’s what I’ve been up to, shopping buddies of mine!
