I’m trying to collect points from my regular drugstore to get a free plush toy for my girls. They’re crazy about collecting plush toys so I thought since I’ve got quite a list to shop there, it’d be perfect!

They give you a sticker stamp for every $15 purchase, I think. So you collect the stamps and stick them to a card each time until you have enough to exchange for a plushie.

Every time I go to the store, I’m buying everything I need all at once to maximize on the points. If I split up my purchases and buy, say an anti wrinkle cream one day and shampoo on another day, I’m losing out on the collective points which could well entitle me to another stamp. Just sayin’!

free parking Wednesdays

The Mega Sales are still on. I got the dates confused and thought they ended in August. Actually we still have till September 1.

Yay, this means I can still go to One Utama on a Wednesday and park for free. It’s great for when I just need to drop in for a few minutes and grab something in a hurry.

I sure wouldn’t want to pay a buck for that and One Utama doesn’t have that 15-minute grace period for you to turn back out if you like can’t a parking spot or something.

free movies, here we come

This must be our lucky stretch. We’ll be going to watch The Incredible Hulk and I just can’t wait to get my hands on those free movie tickets.

Over the past couple of weeks, we got free tickets to see Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (which was a great movie) and SuperHero Movie (which was less than a great movie).

But see, in these times of runaway prices, we have to be ‘cheap’, free is even better. It’s a bonus, um, something akin to life insurance no medical exam maybe .

I know that some of you may be selling items on eBay to make some side income. Fantastic! I believe in making money to spend money. After all money doesn’t grow on trees !

Okay, I’m seeing this but I’m not believing it . But then again, isn’t this what AirAsia is famous for by now? The shockingly low prices on air tickets

AirAsia is offering free air tickets to Penang from November 1 to 4, 2007. You have to book your ticket within these dates to travel between January 3 and March 30, 2008.

There are only 25,000 tickets up for grabs and I’m guessing that their website at AirAsia.com will be swamped by now. With a deal like that, the web traffic will bring the host server crashing .

Lest you think you’ll be flying on rickety old airplanes, the good news is you won’t! They’ll have you winging across the skies in their brand new Airbus – woohoo!
