Smells great!
I’ve been looking for some new perfume lately and just yesterday, I found a box of perfume that someone had brought back from Japan. Good thing I found it or else I might have already gone and gotten the new Jennifer Aniston perfume that was just released not too long ago. What kind of fragrances do you like?

Gifts for my buddy
Do you have friends who are just too good to be true? Well, I do. I have a girl friend who always remembers my birthday and sends me cards and gifts all year round, not just on my birthday but on all the other occasions as well. Sometimes she even sends me ‘just because’ cards. Lucky me!
While I love the attention, I’m also feeling extremely guilty that I sometimes forget to reciprocate some of these special days. So I’m thinking I should probably mark those dates on my calendar and find a site that saves me money on gifts I’m planning to send her.
I’ve used the 1 800 Flowers promotion code to send her a lovely bouquet which then prompted her to send me a teddy bear in return
. So for the next occasion, whatever that may be, I’m going to check out Overstock. I hear they have some really great gift ideas that won’t break my bank.
It’s great to have a friend like her. But at the same time, I’m just hoping I can keep up with her since I’m a much busier person that she is. I have kids and she doesn’t so she’s got a less crazy schedule than me.

one practical gift
My daughter will be graduating from high school soon and we’re planning a surprise for her. Yes, the hush-hush party plans are in the works. I’m so excited. I know she loves surprises but the biggest surprise will be the movado watch we’re planning to give her.
She’s the vain pot in the family and is crazy about clothes and accessories, so what better present than this? A watch is a very practical gift and I’m the queen of practical. She’s going to love a new watch to go to her high school prom and when she goes off to college.

one excuse out the window
It’s hard to believe but we’re two months from Christmas. That isn’t a whole lot of time to get cracking on the holiday planning now, is it? Every year it just gets harder to buy gifts because it seems like we’ve bought everything there is to buy
.
But there’s one thing we can all look forward to and personally, it’s those christmas photo cards that make the holiday season that much more personal.
These days with photo-taking being a daily activity (almost), there are no more excuses not to be able to come up with a personable family photo, which used to be my excuse. I don’t think I’ll be able to get away with this excuse any more

wedding invitations by the half dozen
You wouldn’t believe the number of wedding invitations I’ve received in the month of December alone! Quite honestly, I didn’t think this would be such a popular month for weddings.
Or maybe people just want to get this big-ticket item done with before the brunt of the economic downturn hits next year as predicted. Well, whatever!
Thing is I’m not having such a fun time since I have to shop for wedding gifts in addition to my year-end and Chinese New Year shopping. Duh!
One of my friends commented that while life insurance quotes are easy to compare online, shopping for a wedding gift requires quite a bit of thought and you have to consider what might be useful to a newlywed couple moving into their first home.
That’s the hard part, I think, because I always like my gifts to be practical and well thought-out. Since the internet connection is so slow these past few days, I’ve been hanging out at the mall looking for wedding gifts.

Christmas shopping bargains and food gifts
Are you shopping like a person crazed, like I am? And it’s not just the holiday shopping, it’s that I seem to be getting more wedding invitations arrive at my door! I’m trying to cut back on spending here, people, so would you quit getting married all at once
?
Well, it’s pointless complaining so I set out to look for Christmas shopping bargains instead. You’ll find lots of coupon deals that could add up to quite a bit of savings here.
For those hard to buy for people, I suggest you check out these Christmas food gifts. Everybody loves good food and the holidays are all about catching up and pigging out so food’s a great idea for a gift.
